- Working as SQL Server DBA
- Installation, configuration, software upgrades and monitoring of Microsoft SQL Server 2005
- Suppport production and development databases.
- Writing stored procedures, triggers, DTS in SQL Server.
- Database Restore and backup
- Design, Coding and Integration testing of database related work
- Write sql queries for developers.
- Consulting and assistance to the application community on query efficiency, application tuning, database design changes and trouble-shooting.
- Exploit database productivity tools to perform database services functions and automate processes when appropriate
Desired Profile
1. Good Academic Background
2. 3-6 yrs experience
3. Experience on other database will be an added advantage
4. Knowledge of .Net will be an added advantage
5. Excellent communication skill- both verbal and written
6. Strong analytical programming skills
